Elmo s calling! The My First Cell Phone Book features 10 pages of art and story text. A module at the right of the book consists of a detachable 15-button toy cell phone with an LCD screen. Children press the buttons to call Elmo, to answer calls from Elmo, and to get messages. While Elmo talks, his animated image appears on the LCD screen. The phone plays five different ring tones, and includes Camera and Voicemail buttons that play and display silly sound effects, pictures, and animations.
Elmo spends a busy day around town going to 10 exciting locations. The text and art gives clues about where he is. Children are asked to guess the location, and prompted to call the number on the page to find out if they re right!
